The annual spring exhibition of antiques in the Central exhibition hall is dedicated to the year of literature. The viewer will be presented an unique engravings of the XIX century – portraits of Byron, Gogol, illustrations of literary works of Russian and West European authors, the beginning of the XX century sculpture – portraits of L. N. Tolstoy, A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, S. A. Yesenin, Alexander Blok.
As before, the exhibition will be attracted the viewer special "immersion" into the world of still life and a demonstration of the culture of bygone eras, life, has an understanding of beauty and style. Styles focused on creating a comfortable, decent life for people who know how to appreciate a true, unique beauty of private life and art existed in the houses, the interiors of which were created as a holistic and meaningful space. In these houses everything from furniture, colour of walls and to the last door handle, was solved in the ensemble of the general and private.
Among antiques items of exhibition – sale will be presented diverse interior, furniture famous European styles such as empire, eclectic, during the "second Empire, art Nouveau, art Deco… The tables, chairs, armchairs, cabinets, secretaries, chests, screens and flower stand are just a small list of various forms that once existed in the interiors of the offices, canteens, nurseries, boudoirs…
Such items of historic interiors, sculptures,which were created from stone, wood, cast in bronze or iron is capable to make the interior much more diverse and reflect the personality of the owner. The painting on the walls enhances the impression of the uniqueness of each room, and precisely matched decorative pieces complete the look and help to create a truly unique ensemble. The examples of such ensembles can be seen in exhibit halls. An interest in antiques and vintage art at the present time due to a kind of commonality inherent in today's life, because naturally the desire of city residents to surround themselves with "warm" and "cozy" items created by skilled craftsmen. Each antique, even the smallest relic not only the testimony of a certain era, but also the opportunity for modern man to know more about the history of culture. The exhibition, which will be have a few surprises, from the original design of the exhibition space to an entertaining lottery and muniauction.
